1757
Shetlopedia - The Shetland Encyclopaedia
- An unidentified vessel is recorded as having wrecked on the Ship Stack at the southern-most extremity of the entrance to Nor Wick, Unst c. 1757. However it is suspected that this record may actually refer to a vessel believed to have been named Geestemunde, which wrecked at the same location on December 19th 1737, due to a typo having been made in recording the year.
