- The Rebecca, a sail schooner, of and for Lerwick, from Hamburg, Germany wrecked on the SE coast of Dunrossness during a SE gale c. 1787.

The Elizabeth (1787), a sloop, operating as a mail packet carrying general cargo and passengers, of and from Leith, Scotland wrecked at Uyeasound. All aboard were saved.

The Mary (1787), a whaler, of Lerwick, wrecked in Lerwick Harbour with the loss of nine lives.

The Expedition,a sail sloop laden with a cargo of tar, of Kristiansund, Norway wrecked on "Noss". Most probably the Isle of Noss, Bressay.
