Aithsting

Aithsting is one of the old parishes on the Westside of Shetland, centred on Aith Kirk. It extends as far as West Burrafirth and the Loch of Voxterby to the west, and includes the islands of Vementry and Papa Little. To the north it includes the settlment of East Burrafirth, Tresta and part of Weisdale Hill to the east. To south it is bordered by the Parish of Sandsting, with which it was merged.
