Aywick is a small settlement on the East side of Yell. It was the birthplace of Bobby Tulloch and is close to the East Yell Hall, one of the first of the new community halls built in rural Shetland in the 1970's. A 6Kw wind turbine is installed to supply storage heaters. As well as being the local hall, it is the venue for the annual agricultural 'Yell Show'.
