Bigga is an island near the south end of Yell Sound, half way between Ulsta on Yell and Toft on the Shetland Mainland, and lies just north of the route taken by the Yell ferry..
The island is nearly 2km long (NNW to SSE), and 0.6km wide. At the south end of the island is the remains of a chapel, whilst near the north end is the remains of a settlement called Norrabister. The island reaches a maximum height of 34m. There are 2 small bays on the island, Wester Hevda Wick and Easter Hevda Wick.
