Brough is a small settlement in South Nesting, in the east central mainland of Shetland.
It lies on the east side of the East Voe of Skellister.
As is the case with other places in Shetland which are named Brough, there are the remains of an old Broch in the area.
The Mormon missionary John Sutherland was born in Brough in 1832, and returned in 1887, to launch the islands' first permanent mission.
