Just to avoid confusion, maybe.. ;-)
"Convener" or "Convenor"???? Good question. With no real answer. :(
I have opted for the er ending, purely because that seems to be most commonly used in relation to the modern SIC. Even used in the Convener's email address.
Oxford Dictionary, lists both spellings. So basically I tossed a coin. :-)
