Question

Sullom Voe OT that is to say close ups and from inside to North or Central ... if North: Where to place the virtual boundary between North and Central??? We have 2 pics up to now in the North section: One (looking over east mainland coast) is ok ... the other, the close up??? Islandhopper 05:46, 7 May 2007 (MDT)

I see. I was thinking about parish boundaries and taking Delting & Lunnasting out of the Central area calling it Northeast Mainland or Northeast Central ... may be together with Whalsay and Out Skerries ... thus defining North as "north of Mavis Grind" ??? Islandhopper 06:06, 7 May 2007 (MDT)

I think it is easiest to use the "election" boudaries....,There are to many parishes, and some don't exist anylonger...,I thing it is OK to sort them the way I've done...and try to get the ones from same area together...,I'l have to move some around after I've finished the uploading... We use this boundaries, but put north and south Lerwick into central, put all pics from the Town Lerwick on a page of its own, like I already have done...I see from those boundaries that I have mis-placed a few, have to sort out that later....And I will make different sections on them like I've done with the North Islands, like putting the Dunrossness area in one "Frame", Fair Isle in one and so on...., hope you understand what I mean, ...I have not so very many more to add now....and I will try to add new one as soon as I see them..;-)), Oddrun 07:07, 7 May 2007 (MDT)

OK, we will then have the existing 6 pages where Lerwick is Lerwick-Town plus a seventh "Outer Lerwick, Bressay & Noss" or so ... May I have your title for that page, please ... All that is Light green, light blue and pink on that map goes into "Central", exept the City of Lerwick..Then I make "frames" on the pages for the different areas,,,,does that make sense ???, I don't want too many pages, but maybe in the future I have to divide "Lerwick" into two...The main thing now is to make it easier to find pics without searching through that f*** gallery of new files !!, It drives me mad, there is still pics that's not put into pages...and I know they are there, but not so easy to find in that gallery!! ;-) , Oddrun 08:05, 7 May 2007 (MDT)

Picture Galleries

@ All.
These galleries have been sadly forgotten about, and there have been many pictures uploaded which deserve to be in the various galleries.
So if anybody has a moment of boredom, or perhaps a long spell of boredom, please add any that you can where they belong.
The picture galleries get a lot of views, especially from outwith the isles.
Any help would be much appreciated. :-)
