Clousta is a hamlet on the west side of Shetland, it has a population of approximately 70 people. Most of its residents commute to their place of work however there are a few crofts and 2 mussel farms, in the Voe of Clousta.

History
A large wooden hotel designed by Robert Lorimer was first opened 1st August 1895 to cater for anglers and seal hunters, however it burned down 18th October, 1907
Clousta once had its own school and it was one of the first to be built after the Education act in 1872. Children from Vementry took the 30 minute walk over the hill every day to the school. It closed in the early 1900s.
