The Clumlie Baa, (HU??????), is one of the most notorious hazards to shipping off the south Shetland Mainland. Located southeast of Levenwick, and only visible above the water's surface at low tide.
This baa has been the site of several shipwrecks over the years, including the Inter-Nos in 1924, and the Vesper (1969) in 1969.
