The Crofters Commission is the government body which administers crofting in Scotland, and thus Shetland. It was established by the Crofters' Holdings (Scotland) Act 1886.

It forms part of the "Scotland's Environmental and Rural Services" (SEARS) consortium, which also takes in Scottish Natural Heritage, Animal Health (in Scotland), the Forestry Commission (in Scotland) and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).

It is not to be confused with the Napier Commission.
