The Cullivoe Dance Band, based in Yell, were formed in the mid 1960's and the vast majority of their appearances have been in Shetland, playing at a variety of events. However they have also built a significant worldwide following due to word of mouth recommendation from the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival, and exposure on Robbie Shepherd's BBC Radio show.

Members currently (December 2007) are:

Ivor Scollay - Accordion.

Bryan Gear - Fiddle.

Graeme Garrick - Drums.

Martin Henderson - Piano.

In early December 2007 the Cullivoe Dance Band won the Scottish Dance Band of the year Award, at the 2007 Scots Trad Music Awards, held at Fort William, Highland, Scotland.
