The Daisy LT172, a wooden hulled steam fishing trawler or drifter (the records are in dispute), 42 Net Tons, built 1904 or 1905 at Lowestoft, England (the records are in dispute), owner T. E. Thistle, Lowestoft, England, registered in Lowestoft, England, Captain R. G. Capps, ten crew.

This vessel developed a leak and sank either at a position approx 12 miles SE of Fair Isle, or at an unknown location somewhere between Sumburgh Head and Fair Isle, the records are evenly divided between both locations, and they are also evenly divided between disagreeing whether the incident occured on June 28th 1906 or on May 18th 1906. All of the crew are believed to have been saved.
