The Delting War Memorial is erected by the roadsie on the eastside of A968 above the village of Voe, and was unveiled around 1922.
The WW I memorial is a square stone with a Latin Cross on the top. A stone tablet with the names of the fallen in WW II is added at the base.
The WW I memorial has the top inscription : To the Glory of God and in everlasting memory of ;. Then follows a list of all the fallen.
Below the names it reads :

These fell in the Great War 1914 - 1918
At the call of King and Country they left all that was dear to them, endured hardships, faced dangers, and finally passed out of sight of man. By the path of duty and self-sacrifice giving up their own lives that others might live in freedom.
Let those who come after see to it that their names be not forgotten.
