Eric Brown Cycles, the largest cycle retailer in Shetland, was started by Eric Brown, in 19?? at 7 Commercial Road, in the southern half of the ground floor of the premises now occupied by Cee and Jays, and also occupied other storage buildings in the general area. At that time the business was known as Eric Brown and held the local dealerships for Raleigh bicycles, Honda motorcycles and Reliant cars.

During the mid/late 1970's the Honda and Reliant dealerships were transferred to Thulecraft Ltd. and the cycle business purchased by Mr & Mrs Leask, who later moved it to 68 Commercial Street, now occupied by Stems @ 68, who sold it on to Grantfield Garage Ltd. in 19??, and who relocated to their garage premises at Grantfield, North Road.
As well as selling cycles, the business sells a wide range of cycle accessories, repairs cycles, and hires cycles.
