Flynderborg

The Flynderborg (alternatively Flynderberg or Flynderborge), a steel hulled steamship, 77 L x 11 B x 4.9 D metres, 1387/858 tons, 1400 GRT, 166/700 h.p., built 1901, Captain Errove, registered in Copenhagen, Denmark. While in passage, in ballast from Bergen, Norway to Leith, Edinburgh, was sunk as the result of German submarine activity at an unknown position off the Bard of Bressay on October 21st 1917. All of the crew were saved. It is not known whether this vessel was the victim of a mine or a torpedo.
