| Other information | The Foula Lighthouse was originally built as a gas powered light. The power system now consist of 36 solar moduls, charging 2500AH, 24V battery, supplemented by four small vertical axis wind generators. Foula Lighthouse was the last major lighthouse built in Shetland. |
