Fred Irvine

Fred Irvine, (1890 - 1976), was a Shetland illustrator/artist who lived at The Knowe, Lerwick.
A collection of illustrations entitled Shetland - Believe It Or Not, was published by T and J Manson of Lerwick in 1952. A second collection entitled Pictures From Shetland's Past, was published by The Shetland Times Ltd, Lerwick in 1955, and reprinted in 1969, 1974 and 1988.
His illustrations also appeared in Ventures In Verse by W. Fordyce Clark, published by T & J Manson, Lerwick in 1951.
