Garriock Bros. Ltd started their plant hire business in 1978 with just one JCB digger for hire. Now Garriock Bros. Plant Hire, and their wholly owned subsidiary, Orkney Tool Hire, have over 1800 items of plant for hire.
The plant hire business was moved in 2006 from the Blackhill Industrial Estate, to the ground floor of the new GB building (The former Schlumberger building), at Gremista Industrial Estate.
The plant hire shop also sells a wide range of tools, consumables, and accessories.
