Garrison Theatre

The Garrison Theatre is a small theatre in Lerwick, which also acts as Shetland's only Cinema. The theatre is used in the Shetland Folk Festival and Shetland Drama Festival.
The building which stands in Market Street was originally built in 1903, but has had many upgrades since then. The building was used as a drill hall in the 1st World War and during the 2nd World War served as a theatre to entertain the thousands of troops stationed in Shetland.
