Garths Ness, (HU365115), is a headland on the south west tip of the south Shetland Mainland, between the Bay of Quendale and Garth Wick.
The west coast of Garths Ness was where the Braer oil tanker was wrecked on the 5th January 1993. Previously the east coast of the ness, on the western shore of the Bay of Quendale, had been the scene of the following wrecks. The Belvidoch in 1794, the Mary on May 10th 1816, and the Ann on September 15th 1823.
The headland is overlooked by Fitful Head, to the north west.
