The Girl Mandy (LK2), a motor shellfishing vessel, 9.1 L metres, registered in Britain.
This vessel is recorded as having wrecked or sunk at 60.31N, 01.09W, which falls very approximately in the South Wick of Sound, West Yell, on July 12th 1995. However local knowledge records that the incident actually occured just north of the Ness of Sound, West Yell.
It is believed that the wreck was subsequently raised and salvaged, and is currently based at Aith operating as a mussel farm vessel.
