An unidentified vessel wrecked on the holm in 1725, the Maria wrecked on rocks between the holm and the Brethren on January 6th 1859, the Princess Of Thule wrecked on the holm on July 1st 1892, a position approx 0.75 miles S of the holm is the most probable location for where the Dayspring foundered or wrecked on July 18th 1900, and the Puritan wrecked on the holm on July 19th 1906 after having initially struck The Unicorn.
