The Gullborg (RE38), a motor fishing vessel, 190 GRT, built 1960, registered in Faroe. This vessel suffered an engine room explosion and subsequently sank on December 19th 1971, at a position "50 miles south of Lerwick", which is approx 14 miles SE of Fair Isle.
