Haabet (1799)

The Haabet of Bergen, Norway, in passage from Bordeaux, France to Bergen with a cargo of wine went ashore at Symbister Whalsay on January 20th 1799. All of the crew were saved.

Temporary repairs were subsequently made, allowing the vessel to be taken to Lerwick.
