Hay's Dock is one of the earliest sheltered berthing places in Lerwick Harbour. Built in 1815 by Hay & Ogilvy.
Formerly a working dock and later used by the local inshore fishing fleet, it is now dominated by the new Shetland Museum, and as part of the museum project the dock area has been fully refurbished.

It is also the site for the proposed Cinema and Music Venue, called Mareel.
