Hayfield Lane runs uphill in an eastery direction from its junction with North Lochside and South Lochside, across the junction of Cairnfield Road and Robertson Crescent/North Lochside(see note below), and past the north ends of Leslie Road, and Goodlad Crescent, to its junction with Gilbertson Road.
Note. Because of the creation of the new 'Lochside Road', some of the North Lochside houses now form an extension from the south end of Robertson Crescent, across Hayfield Lane, to the end of Cairnfield Road.
