Hildasay is an uninhabited island which lies approximately 5km west of Scalloway on the central Shetland Mainland. The northern approach to Scalloway Harbour is to the north of the island, passing first between Hildisay and the holm of Sanda Stour to the northwest, then turning sharply to pass between Hildisay and the island of North Havra which lies to the northeast.
The island, one of the bigger Scalloway Islands was populated until the later part of the 19th century.
