J. J. Nicolson was the 1979 Guizer Jarl for the Lerwick Up Helly-Aa, and represented 'Egil Scallagrimsson'. James (Jim) J. Nicolson, now retired, was for many years a driver for the local mobile branch of The Bank of Scotland. He is the father of 2007 Guizer Jarl for the Lerwick Up Helly-Aa Graham Nicolson
