The natural arch at the tip of Kirkabister Ness

Kirkabister Ness, (HU489377), at the southwest corner of the island of Bressay, at the entrance to Bressay Sound and Lerwick Harbour, is the site of the Bressay Lighthouse.

The location with the lighthouse, natural arch, and cliffs which rise steeply just south of the ness, has made it one of the most photographed places in Shetland.

The Lunokhods wrecked on the ness in in November 1993.
