Lawrence Dundas

Lawrence Dundas (1st Earl of Zetland), born 10th April 1766, died 19th February 1839.
He was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Orkney & Shetland in 1831 and in 1838 became the first person to bear the title Earl of Zetland
He was succeeded as Lord Lieutenant by his son John Charles Dundas.
