Lunna Ness

Lunna Ness, (HU505715), a long headland which is located north of Vidlin, on the east side of the Shetland Mainland, was one of the bases for The Shetland Bus operation during World War II.

The Peggy wrecked on the ness in August 1836 and the Life Guard stranded near the ness on July 4th 1889.
