Funeral of two fishermen at Norwick, from S.T. MAY ISLAND, lost off Unst, 18th. Feb. 1936., having struck rocks on Lamba Ness, north of Norwick, in a severe South East gale. Only two bodies were found. On Sunday 26th. March at 2pm. the two seamen were laid to rest. The Rev. W. McCormack Myles, Methodist Church and Mr. James J. Miller, Church of Scotland took the service. The Leith registered trawler May Island, was wrecked at Lamba Ness, Unst, at the 18th of February 1936. All the crew were lost.
