The Ness Boating Club, situated at the East end of the Pool of Virkie hosts a wide range of activities.
During the summer months there are regular fishing competitions from the Virkie Marina. Facilities are available for visiting boats.

All year round the club hosts indoor bowling on Wednesday afternoons and either Friday or Saturday evening, depending on other bookings.

The bar is open every Friday and Saturday from 8pm.
