Nicolson Plant is haulage and civil engineering business based in Brae.
The business, started by Edmund Nicolson in the 1970s is one of the largest business of it's type in Shetland.
Several years ago Mr Nicolson sold the business, but the plans of the new owners ran in to financial difficulties, and the business was placed in administration, in November 2007.
In December 2007 it was announced that the business is to be bought by Garriock Bros. Ltd.
