The Northern Light (LK301), a motor fishing vessel, registered in Lerwick, Captain Watt.
This vessel struck rocks off the Ness of Hillswick and was abandoned by her crew on April 8th 1961. She refloated herself and started drifting generally southwards almost immediately after being abandoned, however with her deck already awash it is presumed she sank quickly close to the position of her last sighting.
