October Gales 2006

The October Gales occurred on the 26th of October 2006 and was a day of severe weather.

A Bristow helicoter was blown onto it's side at Scatsta Airport, a house in Trondra lost part of it's roof, a house in Yell had the back wall of it's garage blown out, and a 40 foot metal container was overturned at Aith.
There were also many instances of minor flooding, and damage to roofs.
