Papil, is a small settlement in the south end of the island of West Burra, at the sheltered northern end of West Voe.
The churchyard at Papil is where the pictish symbol stone, known as the Papil Stone, was found in 1877, and also where the Burra Monk's Stone was unearthed in 1943.
