The Provider a British wooden hulled motor fishing vessel, 18 metres length, struck either floating debris or a submerged wreck which badly holed her, and sank within minutes close to Sweinna Stack, Yell Sound on February 4th 1976. All of the crew were saved.

The remains of the wreck lie in approx 10 metres of water.
