Reawick House, Reawick, was built in 1730 by the Umphreys after they had acquired the Reawick Estate from the Cheynes. Reawick was a part of the large Vaila Estate which belonged to the Cheynes .
The outbouildings of the house were built in a fort-like style. In later years, the house has got a red tiled roof.
