The Resolution, a galliot, registered in Laurvig (now Larvik), Norway. While in passage with a cargo of timber from Drammen, Norway to Holland, it is understood she was abandoned, her crew transferring to another vessel. She was subsequently found derelict by men from Fair Isle during April 1829 who boarded and sailed her in to Muckle Orie Geo, where they sold the vessel and contents at auction. However, she was to later drive ashore and become a total loss.
