Robert James Hay Ganson (b. 31 July 1896, Lerwick, d. 9 January 1976, Lerwick) was a company director and County Councillor for Delting South between 1922 and 1928, while later returning to represent Sandness from 1928 to 1932, and again from 1949 to 1970. He also represented the Lerwick Town Council between 1932 and 1947.
His father, Robert D. Ganson was involved at a similar level in local politics.
