Sandness Hill, (HU192558), just to the south of the village of Sandness, in the west Shetland Mainland, rises to a height of 249 metres and is part of a triple hill with the other peaks of the Hill of Melby (226 metres) and Ramna Vord (219 metres), west of which steep cliffs drop down to the Bay of Deepdale.
West from these hills, the most westerly point of the Shetland Mainland, is Matta Taing.
