Scalloway Road runs east from the junction of South Road, Burgh Road, and Sletts Road, across King Harald Street, and up Gullets Brae*, to its junction with Hillhead, Thorfinn Street, and Clairmont Place.
- Gullets Brae had, at one time in the distant past, a resident named Goodlad who was referred to as 'Guillet', hence Gullet's Brae.
