The Seaward Quest (BF377), a motor fishing trawler, Captain F. Wiseman. Registered in Banff, Scotland, sank in calm conditions at a position approx 52 miles west of Papa Stour on October 16th 1994. All of the crew were saved.

On October 4th 2006 at Peterhead Sheriff Court, the Captain admitted deliberately sinking the vessel to fraudently claim insurance.
