Skibhoul Stores is a general store, off license, bakery, and cafe in Baltasound, Unst.
The name Skibhoul is derived from Dutch, Schiphol - A place to haul up boats.

The business of Alexander Sandison & Sons, which was established in 1857 in Uyeasound, opened a branch in 1870, at Brora, Baltasound. Then in 1885 the 2 storey part of the present building was built as a shop and bakery. An additional branch shop and bakery was also opened at Northside, Baltasound, in the 1890s, at which time the population of Baltasound could rise to over 7000 during the herring season, with up to 700 sailing luggers in the sound. During this herring boom Baltasound was secondary only to Lerwick as a herring port in Shetland, but the arrival of steam drifters in the early 1900s saw most of the trade shift to Lerwick.
