There are several settlements in Shetland named Sound. The picture shows the Sound on the West side of Weisdale Voe, on the road to Cott.

The Haa of Sound in Weisdale,was the birthplace of John Clunies Ross, who later went on to become the "King of the Cocos Isles" in the Indian Ocean.
