There are several settlements in Shetland named Sound.
Sound (Weisdale) is located on the West side of Weisdale Voe, on the road to Cott.
The Haa of Sound in Weisdale, was the birthplace of John Clunies-Ross, who later went on to become the "King of the Cocos Isles" in the Indian Ocean.
