The South Isle of Gletness is a small island which lies 0.5km south of the settlement of Gletness, in South Nesting, on the east coast of the Shetland Mainland.
The island rises to a height of just over 30m and at the north end there are caves and a natural arch.
The island is separated from the mainland by the South Voe of Gletness, and the Bight of Lingness. There are several smaller holms and skerries to the north of the isle, including South Holm, Gult Holm,Stunger, Tainga Skerry, Aiplin, and the North Isle of Gletness.
