South Road

South Road starts from the junction of Burgh Road, Scalloway Road, and Sletts Road, and runs in a southwesterly direction past the south end of Bells Road, the north end of West Sletts Park, and then the south ends of Gilbertson Road, and Cairnfield Road, to the roundabout where it is met by South Lochside and Sea Road. The South Road then continues out of town as the main A970, past the junctions of; Westerloch Drive, Murrayston, Upper Baila, West Baila, Hillcrest, and Sandy Loch Drive, on the right, while on the left are the junctions of; Kantersted Road, Sandveien, Nedersund Road, Oversund Road, and Ackrigarth.
